# Someone is parked on my space
## If someone is parked in your reserved parking space, follow these steps to report the issue and find an alternative parking space.

## What should I do if another vehicle is parked in my reserved space?
If another vehicle is occupying your reserved parking space, use the **Space taken?** feature in the Ronspot app to report the issue. Ronspot will anonymously notify the vehicle owner and, if available, offer you an alternative parking space immediately.
## How do I report a vehicle parked in my space?
### Step 1: Go to the Home screen
- On the web and mobile app, go to the Home screen.
- Locate your parking booking for today.

### Step 2: Click on 'Space taken?'
1. Tap or click your booking to open the booking detail view.
2. Tap or click the **Space taken?** button on the booking detail screen.
3. A popup window will appear where you can report the issue.

### 3. Enter the number plate of the vehicle parked in your space
- In the popup, enter the `Number plate` of the vehicle currently parked in your space. **Do not include any spaces or hyphens.**
- Make sure the registration number is accurate, as this information is used to notify the vehicle owner.
- Click `Next`

### 4. Accept the alternative parking space
- After reporting, Ronspot will check for any available alternative parking spaces.
- If an alternative space is available, it will be shown on the next page. **Click** `Yes, take this space` **to take the new parking space.**
- If there are no alternate spaces available, you will need to find another parking space or wait for the vehicle to move. Ronspot will anonymously notify the owner of the vehicle parked in your space and request that they move their vehicle.
