How to add a new vehicle

Adding a new vehicle to your Ronspot account is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the steps to ensure your vehicle is correctly registered.


To book a parking space in Ronspot, you must first register at least one vehicle on your account. Vehicle information is used to ensure that the parking space allocated to you is suitable for your vehicle's size and requirements.

Once a vehicle has been added to your account, you will be able to proceed with booking parking spaces. If you have multiple vehicles, you can register each one separately.

To add a vehicle to your Ronspot account, please follow these simple steps:


1. Navigate to the 'Profile' section

  1. Go to the Profile tab
  2. If you are on the mobile app, then tap on the Edit profile button

2. Add a new vehicle

  1. Go to the Vehicles section
  2. Click on the Add vehicle button

3. Enter the vehicle details

vehicle-mobileFields will appear prompting you to enter your vehicle details. These details allow Ronspot to book parking spaces that match your vehicle's characteristics. 

  1. Number plate: Enter your vehicle's number plate (whitespace and hyphens are not accepted)
  2. Vehicle size: Specify the size of your vehicle (e.g., motorbike, compact, regular, large)
  3. Fuel type: Specify the fuel type of your vehicle (e.g., petrol, diesel, electric)
  4. Accessibility*: For people with reduced mobility (leave empty if not applicable)
  5. Vehicle sharing*: For people using a shared vehicle (leave empty if not applicable)
  6. Tap on the Save button to finalise the process

*Please note that fields 4 and 5 will only be displayed if there are corresponding spaces configured in the zones you have access to.

Congratulations! Your vehicle is now registered in Ronspot.

If you have multiple vehicles, repeat the steps above for each additional vehicle.
