How to Check-In / Scan QR Code

This article will walk you through the steps to successfully check-in using the Ronspot app and confirm you're in the office.

Depending on your company's configuration, the check-in system may be turned on or off.

1. Check-In from the Home Screen (App Only)

1. Find the Booking: Open the Ronspot mobile app and navigate to the Home Screen. Locate the booking for which you want to check-in.

2. Click 'Check-In': Once you've identified the correct booking, click the Check-In button associated with it.

Note: Check-in is only available for bookings on the current day.

3. Complete the Check-In process:

  • QR Code Check-In: If your company uses QR codes, your phone's camera will automatically open (ensure you allow the app to access your camera). Point the camera at the QR code to scan it and complete the check-in process.
  • Manual Check-In: If your company uses manual check-in, simply click the Confirm button.

4. Confirmation: Once you're checked in, the button associated with the booking will now read Check-Out.


 

2. Check-In from the Calendar

1. Click on the Current Day: Open the Calendar view and click on the current day. 

2. Click 'Check-In': In the popup that appears, click the Check-In button.

3. Complete the Check-In process:

  • QR Code Check-In: If your company uses QR codes, your phone's camera will automatically open (ensure you allow the app to access your camera). Point the camera at the QR code to scan it and complete the check-in process.
  • Manual Check-In: If your company uses manual check-in, simply click the Confirm button.

4. Confirmation: Once you're checked in, the button associated with the booking will now read Check-Out.


 

3. Check-In from the Map

1. Tap on Your Reserved Spot: Open the Map view in the Ronspot app. Locate and tap on your reserved spot for the current day, represented in blue on the map.

2. Click 'Check-In': In the popup that appears, click the Check-In button.

3. Complete the Check-In process:

  • QR Code Check-In: If your company uses QR codes, your phone's camera will automatically open (ensure you allow the app to access your camera). Point the camera at the QR code to scan it and complete the check-in process.
  • Manual Check-In: If your company uses manual check-in, simply click the Confirm button.

4. ConfirmationOnce you're checked in, the button associated with the booking will now read Check-Out.


 

4. Troubleshooting

  • QR Code Not Scanning: Ensure the room is well-lit and that the QR code is fully visible, with all four corners intact and undamaged.

  • 'You Have Not Booked This Spot': Double-check that you are scanning the correct QR code, which should be associated with the spot you have booked.

  • Check-In Button Not Visible: Reach out to your company administrator to verify if check-in is enabled.
