How to connect SAML to Ronspot
This guide will walk you through the process of integrating SAML/ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Ronspot.
Step 1: Login to your ADFS account:
- Access your ADFS management console using an administrator account.
Step 2: Copy the following fields:
Entity ID
: This is the global, unique ID for the SAML entity.Single Sign-on URL
: The URL used for primary authentication.ADFS Certificate
: Download the certificate in.crt
format. This certificate will be sent to your Ronspot technical contact.Single Logout URL
: This URL can be used to redirect the employee when they log out of Ronspot.
Step 2: 3og in to Ronspot admin panel
- Open your web browser and go to the Ronspot admin portal.
- Enter your credentials to log in.
Step 4: Go to ‘Users > Login methods’

In the sidebar menu, go to
Users > Login methods.
Step 5: Click on the ‘SAML’ icon

Locate your domain name in the list provided.
- If your domain name doesn’t appear in the list, click on the
Add New Domain
button to add it.
- If your domain name doesn’t appear in the list, click on the

Click on the
SAML
logo in the SAML column next to your domain name.
Step 6: Switch to ‘Active’, paste the values, and save
- Toggle the switch from
Inactive
toActive
on the Status line so that it turns green. -
Paste values from step 2:
Entity ID URL
: Paste the Identity Provider Issuer from ADFS.Sign-in URI:
Paste the Single Sign-on URL from ADFS.Sign-out URI
: Paste the Single Logout URL from ADFS (optional).X509 Certificate
: Paste the content of the ADFS certificate you downloaded earlier (.crt file).
- Click on
Save
to finalize the configuration.
Step 7: Copy the 4 URLs
Scroll down and copy the following four URLs, they will be needed in Step 12.- Single sign-on URL
- Recipient URL
- Destination URI
- Audience URI
Step 8: Save the configuration
Click onSave
to finalise the configuration in Ronspot. Step 9 - Return to ADFS
Log back into your ADFS management console.Step 10 - Update ADFS with Ronspot URLs
Add the following URLs into your ADFS configuration:
Single Sign-On URL
: Paste the value from step 7Recipient URL
: Paste the value from step 7Audience URI
: Paste the value from step 7Destination URI
: Paste the value from step 7
