How to customise email templates

Customising email templates in Ronspot allows administrators to tailor the communication sent to users, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's branding and messaging.

Step 1: Access the email templates

  • Log in to the Ronspot admin panel.
  • In the sidebar menu on the left-hand side, click on Account.
  • Under Account, select Email templates.

Step 2: Add a new template

  • Click on the Add template button. This action allows you to create a custom email template that can overwrite the default settings.

Step 3: Select the template name

  • Choose the relevant template name from the dropdown.
    • Each template name corresponds to a specific type of email that Ronspot sends out.
    • Once selected, the default content will be automatically populated in the Subject and Body fields.

Step 4: Customize the email content

  • Edit the content in the Subject field to reflect the desired subject line of your email.
  • Modify the Body field to customise the message body.
    • Use this area to add personalised content, instructions, or any other relevant information you want to include in the email.
    • Available variables are listed on the right side of the screen.

Step 5: Select the zones

  • Select the zones where this template should apply.
    • This option is not available for user-related templates (e.g., registration, password).
    • If a checkbox is disabled, a custom template already exists for that zone

Step 6: Save the template

  • Once you’ve finished customising the template, click on the Create button to save your changes.
  • Your new template will now be used in place of the default one for the selected email type.

With these steps, you can easily customise Ronspot's email templates to better suit your organisation’s needs. Customising these templates ensures that all communications are consistent with your brand and provide users with clear and relevant information.
