1. What is a credit system, and how does it work?

Credits are free tokens that can be used to reserve resources like parking spaces. The credit system provides a way for companies to control and allocate usage of shared spaces.

The number of credits required for a booking, the specific weekdays that require credits, and how credits are allocated are determined by your organisation's settings.

    2. Is my company using credits?

If your company uses credits, you will see your credit balance displayed in the app

    • Web app: Click the ⭐ icon in the top-right corner to view your credit balance.
    • Mobile app: Go to Profile. Your credit balance is displayed below the Edit Profile button.

If the credit system is turned off, you won’t see any credit-related information in the app. In this case, you can book spaces without worrying about credits.

    3. How many credits do I have?

Keeping track of your credit balance is crucial to ensure you can make bookings when needed.

    • Web app: Click the ⭐ icon in the top-right corner to view your credit balance.
    • Mobile app: Go to Profile. Your credit balance is displayed with a ⭐below the Edit Profile button.

This balance shows the number of credits you currently have that can be used to book resources.

    4. How often do I get credits?

The frequency of credit allocation is set by your organization and may occur either weekly or monthly.

    • Weekly Allocation: Credits will be added to your account every Sunday.
    • Monthly Allocation Credits will be added to your account on the 1st of every month.

    5. How many credits do I need to book a space?

The number of credits required for a booking varies depending on the zone and the day you wish to book.

When selecting a space to book, a pop-up will display a ⭐ icon indicating the number of credits required for that specific booking.

    6. Can I still book a space if I have no credits left?

If you have used all of your available credits, your booking options may be limited. However, credits may not be required for certain bookings, such as:

    • Bookings for the current day
    • Next-day bookings made after a specific time
    • Lower-demand days, such as Fridays

These rules depend on your company's configuration.

A grey ☆ icon indicates that no credits are required for that day, allowing you to book without using any of your remaining credits.

    7. How can I gain credits back?

Credits can be regained by canceling unused bookings.

    If you cancel a booking:

    • Credits may be refunded back to your account, depending on your company's cancellation policy and the time of cancellation.
    • Refunds might be full or partial, based on how close the cancellation is to the booking time.
    • If your credit balance has reached its maximum limit, any refunded credits will not be added back to your account. This is intentionally designed to prevent employees from accumulating more credits than their allotted weekly or monthly amount.

These rules depend on your company's configuration.

When you cancel a booking, the cancellation pop-up displays a yellow ⭐ icon showing the number of credits that will be returned to your balance if the booking is cancelled.

    8. What happens to my unused credits?

Any unused credits will be lost and won't carry over to the next period.

The system is intentionally designed to prevent the accumulation of credits and to discourage overbooking.

    9. Why is my colleague receiving more credits than me?

Credit distribution can vary based on several factors, and your company might allocate credits differently for different employees.

    Possible reasons:

    • Role-based allocation: Some companies allocate more credits to certain roles or levels within the organization.
    • Usage needs: Employees with greater or more frequent need for certain resources (e.g., parking spaces) might receive more credits.

If you notice discrepancies, you can check with your HR department to understand the specific reasons behind the credit allocation.
